I HATE moving...

This is what my house looks like right now. I absolutely hate moving. It is my least favorite activity, but yet you will always have to do it at some point in your life. The even worst part is knowing that I won't look at half of the stuff we own for like another year because we will be building our house. And I'm excited to build our house, but I already think I'm getting an ulcer. I'm stressed out trying to find the "perfect" floorplan and then finding it and then finding out what's wrong with it and that we can't afford it! Then we have to shrink it down so that we can afford it. Its stressful. I think its stressful because we want to live there for 10 plus years, hopefully until our last kid graduates from high school. So the house has to work well for babies, toddlers, kids, and teenagers. This thought scares me. I just want it to be perfect.

So the point of this post is that I hate packing. Don't get me wrong. I have packed a dozen times in college, but I only owned a $14 bookcase and clothes and this time we actally have furniture to move. We have never moved with furniture. We didn't have furniture until after we moved here. I know that a lot of you have just recently moved, and let me just say, "IT SUCKS!" I hope all of you are having much more fun that I am at this point in time. And thanks to my mother-in-law for watching Grant today so that I could actually get some packing done. It really helped, I just wish I were done!

Saturday night out on the town...

Since Thanksgiving we have had a CONSTANT snowfall. There's probably 2-3 ft of snow outside with temperatures ranging from the teens to the single digits. So what does this mean to me 1: We won't be in a drought this summer (yeah!) and 2: I'm stuck in the house ALL day long (Booo). So I'm excited for the snow because we really need it, but I'm not going to try to go shopping and take a baby in it. Trying to walk outside is like trying to ice skate in high heel boots and the ice usually wins especially holding a 20lb baby. So I've decided to not fight with the snow, just stay inside. Well this plan worked for a while until I'm soooo sick at looking the the four walls in our house that I'm about to insane.

So tonight I told Geoffery we are going out! I want to go to a restaurant and I want to go shopping. Of course I get to hear how we need to save money because we're building a house and how he is never home and just wants to hang out. So I told him if he wants a sane wife he better take me outside our house. A girl needs a night out once in a while:) Anyway, here are some pictures before we went out. I actually was able to get ready and wear "real" clothes. Crawling like crazy (especially away from mom)
What a stud:)

Belated New Years...

So on New Years we were still at my parents house and Abby and Scott also came down. We had some yummy food, hung out in our pajama's, and sat around and watched the New Year's Eve Party. It was my kind of night. So below are some pictures of our awesome party. The food, the best part!
I'm not sure whats going on here:)

A much belated Christmas Day...

So I've waited a LONG time to post my pictures from Christmas, but finally here they are. We went to my parents house this Christmas in Logan with my sister, her husband, and little girl. It was a lot of fun and I think that Grant was a good boy this year because Santa brought him LOTS of toys. He was a little scared and weary at first. Everyone was starring at him and seeing how he would react to all these new toys. But after a while he warmed up and started playing. Fun for mom because now I have to put store all these toys in my house and there's no where to put them. Now would be a good time for a playroom! That night we went to my grandparents house for dessert and MORE presents. Hope you enjoy the pictures! Geoffery, Grant, and my grandmother

A little weary of what was going on
This isn't too bad!

We're Moving...

Sorry it's been sooo long since the last time I've blogged. We have been super busy with Christmas and New Years and now we just found out that we have SOLD our house! So we are expected to be out of our home by February 5th! Meaning we have absolutely no where to live! We're currently searching for apartments in Rexburg, which isn't the easiest seeing that it's the middle of the semester. But there are some available just not the ones that we want. While we continue our search, we might move in with Geoffery's parents for a couple of weeks. Selling our house also means we get to start the process of building our new house, which is exciting and nerve racking all at the same time. We purchased a lot in Rexburg back in November. Now we have to choose a floor plan, a builder, and the list goes on and on. So there's a lot of work to be done and a lot of decision making (which I'm not the best at). But Geoffery is excited for the shorter commute to work (2 minutes instead of 30 min). I'm not so excited for the packing or moving (especially with 2 feet of snow outside and temperatures in the teens), but it will all work out I'm sure and one day (maybe 8 mths from now) we'll be living in our new home. Wish us luck!
