Graduation...

It's been 5 and 1/2 years since I first met Geoffery and we started dating. At that time he had just returned from his mission and was starting school for the first time. He wasn't able to go before his mission, so he was a new freshman. Since then, we have gotten married, had a kid, and worked full time for his current job at Legacy Network. He's been with Legacy Network for 4 years now and has found that not only does he love his job there, but he's pretty good at it. Since he has found that job, we decided that no matter how much of his time it would take that he would continue and get his education. So now after 5 and 1/2 years we can say now that he has his bachelors degree! He has always made school a priority even if it was after me, Grant, church callings, and work. He has finally finished! I am sooo proud of him that he has stuck with it and paid for most of it himself with the help of student loans, pell grants, and the money he's earned with his job.

He came to Rexburg with literally nothing and has made a life for himself here. We have learned to call Rexburg home since we have both lived here for almost 6 years! It's a great place to raise a family and I love the small town feel. I am so proud of him for having the patience with me hounding him about his school work, for finishing his classes, and for sticking through and finishing. He'll be the first in his family to graduate from college and I think its a big achievement! So this Friday he will walk and I promise to post pictures of him in his gown. But for now I just wanted to tell him CONGRATS!

I know I haven't meet your husband yet, but CONGRATS!!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment!!!!! My dad says that is why they never "furnished" us with things, they have always thought we would appreciate it more if we had to work for it ourselves........so again CONGRATs!!!! Thanks for being such a good example.

Aud I hope you check this soon cause I got a phone call from your brother today and he's coming to Singapore to renew his visa so we're feeding him on Wednesday (your Tuesday). I forgot to ask him what he wants us to make--do you know his favorite meal? If not we'll just pull something together. It will be fun to see him. I'll take pics for sure!
